Childminding Development Grant 2023

On Wednesday 14th June, Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Roderic O’Gorman, announced the opening of the 2023 Childminding Development Grant (CMDG).

The Grant aims to support the enhancement of quality and safety in childminding services through the purchase of toys, childcare equipment, safety equipment, and equipment to support inclusion and STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths).

The Childminding Development Grant 2023 is now closed for applications.

Learner Fund

The Learner Fund and Graduate Learner Fund Bursaries are available for Childminders who have achieved qualifications at either level 5/6 or at level 7/8/9. The qualification must be on the DCEDIY Early Years Recognised Qualification list.

Childminders who are registered with Tusla as a School-Age Childcare service only are not eligible for this fund.

The Learner Fund & Graduate Learner Fund 2023 is now open for applications.  The deadline for receipt of applications is 29th September at 5pm.
